Slush Stop is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused team member to join us this season! If you love creating a buzz, bringing smiles to customers' faces, and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment, we want to hear from you. You'll be serving up our range of ice-cold slushes and specialty drinks while keeping our stop running smoothly during busy periods. It's the perfect opportunity to build hands-on hospitality skills in a vibrant, high-energy setting.
What You'll Be Doing
- Mixing and serving our full range of slushes, ice drinks, and specialty beverages to company standard
- Following food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Greeting customers with a smile, taking orders accurately, and handling payments through our POS system
- Helping assemble snacks and light bites when needed
- Keeping your workstation, equipment, and the customer area spotless throughout your shift
- Keeping an eye on stock levels and flagging supplies to management before we run low
- Following all health and safety policies
- Handling customer questions or concerns with warmth and professionalism
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is a bonus, but not essential
- An understanding of food safety and hygiene best practice
- A friendly, efficient approach to customer service
- Basic food prep skills for light meal assembly
- Great organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
- Solid time management, especially when things get busy
- Comfortable handling cash and basic maths for transactions
- A team player who enjoys a fast-paced atmosphere
