Love retail? Passionate about tabletop gaming? Want to work somewhere no two weeks are the same?
Dice & Destiny is looking for a Retail & Events Supervisor to join our growing team.
Based primarily in our Canterbury store, you'll help lead the day-to-day retail operation while also supporting our presence at some of the UK's biggest tabletop gaming events. - Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Merchandising products and maintaining high store standards.
- Receiving deliveries, replenishing stock and helping manage inventory.
- Supporting organised play, tournaments and community events.
- Travelling to conventions across the UK to help deliver retail and event operations.
- Representing Dice & Destiny professionally at events and with our partners.
We're looking for someone who...
- Has previous retail or customer service experience.
- Has supervisory experience or is ready to step into a leadership role.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and is confident travelling for work.
- Is happy working evenings and weekends as part of a retail rota.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enjoys taking ownership and leading by example.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.
It would be great if you also have...
- Knowledge of tabletop games.
- Experience with Pokémon or Magic: The Gathering singles.
- Experience running events or tournaments.
- Stock management experience.
- Experience using Shopify POS or similar retail systems.
What you'll receive
- £13.60 per hour.
- 20 to 30 contracted hours per week.
- Additional paid hours available during busy periods and events.
- Staff discount.
- Paid travel for conventions and events.
- Opportunities to develop your skills as our business continues to grow.
- The opportunity to work at major UK tabletop gaming conventions and help create memorable experiences for thousands of players each year.
If you're looking for a role that combines retail, leadership and a genuine passion for tabletop gaming, we'd love to hear from you.
