Position: Part-Time Bar/Floor Staff
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
- Take and serve drink and food orders efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Provide recommendations and answer customer queries about the menu offerings.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas at all times.
- Handle cash and card transactions, maintaining proper cash-handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and seamless service.
- Assist in setting up for events, functions, and daily service as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible service of alcohol.
- Uphold the venue's standards of hospitality and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment preferred, but not mandatory.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong multitasking abilities with an eye for detail.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of local liquor laws and responsible alcohol service is a plus.
