Bramhall Methodist Church Pre-School is seeking a dedicated, caring and enthusiastic Pre-School Practitioner to join our friendly and nurturing team.
Established in 1968, BMC Pre-school is at the very heart of Bramhall village. We are based at Bramhall Methodist Church, part of a thriving and welcoming community. BMC Pre-School offers children from 2 years a secure environment where they can learn and develop into happy, confident and capable children.

Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, rest periods, and organised activities to ensure their safety at all times.
- Support children's emotional well-being by providing comfort and encouragement.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behaviour, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and carers through regular communication regarding their child's development.
- Ensure the childcare environment is clean, organised, and stimulating for young learners.
- Assist in organising outings and trips in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the nursery’s curriculum and activities programme.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide children effectively while maintaining a caring approach.
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and enthusiasm in working with young children.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for organising outings or transporting children when necessary.

Pay: £13.50-£15.50 per hour
