£15.45 per hour after 20:00 Monday-Friday & all day/night Saturday

As a support worker, you will play an integral role in enabling our clients to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life within the comfort of their own homes.
What will be your responsibility be:
We are currently seeking experienced Support worker who will be supporting a 67-year-old with motor neurone disease and a range of complex needs. We are looking for people who really do care and want to feel proud about the work they do every day. Our client requires a team around Her who are caring and skilled (or keen to learn).
Key Responsibilities:
- Non-Invasive Ventilation
- Personal Care/Manual Handling
- Medication
- Emotional support
- Nutrition support
All training can be provided, if you have the right approach. Experience of delivering care in people’s own homes is beneficial but we will provide any training you need or wish to have.
What we are looking for skills/experience:
- Holding an NVQ Level 2 or higher in a relevant field is desirable.
- Complex care: 1 year (preferred)
- Medication
- Cough Assist
- Non-invasive ventilation
- Monitoring
- Knowledge of MND
All clinical training and theory will be provided
Hours/Schedule:
Part time/18 hours (36 over two weeks) Client has respite care every other weekend
Week A=Thursday Saturday & Sunday 10:00-15:00
Week B=Thursday 10:00-19:00 Friday 07:00-19:00
Hours subject to change but this would be regular pattern this could include days/evenings/weekends/waking nights
