The Role
You will handle a varied caseload of commercial property matters, providing practical and commercially focused advice from initial instruction through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own commercial property caseload
- Acting on commercial property acquisitions and disposals
- Advising landlords and tenants on a range of property matters
- Drafting and negotiating leases, licences and other property documentation
- Advising on property development and investment transactions
- Reviewing property titles and identifying potential issues
- Dealing with searches, enquiries and due diligence
- Negotiating contracts and transactional documentation
- Advising clients on the legal and commercial implications of transactions
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, developers and other professional advisers
- Progressing transactions efficiently through to completion
- Managing competing deadlines and ensuring files remain compliant
- Providing clear, commercially focused and practical advice
- Developing strong, long-term client relationships
- Supporting business development and contributing to the continued growth of the team
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer with strong technical knowledge and a genuine interest in delivering excellent client service.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience working within Commercial Property
- Strong knowledge across a broad range of commercial property transactions
- Experience managing your own caseload
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and professional contacts
- A commercially aware and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a wider team
- Strong client relationship skills
- An interest in networking and business development
