Job: Preschool Assistant
Location: Mylor bridge preschool
Job Type: Early Years Practioner - 3 mornings per week initially

Job Description:
As a Preschool Staff member you will contribute to the well being and development of children in our care. You will be an integral part of our team, dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the lead staff in the delivery of the preschool curriculum and activities.
Assist with the supervision of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Encourage children's development through play and guided activities.
Follow preschool policies and procedures, including safeguarding protocols.
Assist with daily routines, including meals, nap times, and transitions.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children.
Maintain open and effective communication with parents and care givers.
Monitor children's progress and development through observations and assessments.
Skills and Experience Required:
Experience working with young children .
A passion for early childhood education and care.
Good communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a busy, ever-changing environment.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Paediatric First Aid qualification (Desirable).
