General Administrator
Location: Dark Revolution Brewery & Taproom, Old Sarum, Salisbury
Reports to: Directors

About the Role
We're looking for a highly organised, proactive and enthusiastic General Administrator to support the day to day running of Dark Revolution Brewery and our Taproom. This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of the business, from administration and purchasing to HR support and marketing.
No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who can prioritise their workload, communicate effectively and enjoy being part of a busy, growing independent brewery. As the business continues to evolve, this role will develop too, offering the opportunity to take on new responsibilities and grow alongside the company.
Key Responsibilities
General Administration
- Provide day to day administrative support to the Directors and management team.
- Answer telephone, email and social media enquiries professionally.
- Maintain company records and filing systems.
- Produce letters, reports and spreadsheets as required.
- Order office supplies and maintain stock levels.
- Support with general office organisation and administration.
Purchasing
- Raise purchase orders where required.
- Order office, brewery and Taproom petty cash consumables.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries and invoices.
- Monitor stock of non-production items.
Credit Control
- Monitor customer accounts.
- Chase outstanding invoices in a professional manner.
- Maintain debtor records.
- Liaise with customers regarding payment queries.
HR Administration
- Prepare employee paperwork including contracts, job descriptions and starter packs.
- Maintain employee files and HR records.
- Assist with recruitment administration.
- Support onboarding of new employees.
Marketing Administration
- Help create and schedule Mailchimp email campaigns.
- Maintain customer mailing lists.
- Assist with promotional administration.
- Support event administration where required.
Customer Service
- Respond to customer enquiries.
- Assist with bookings and event administration.
- Ensure excellent customer communication at all times.
General Business Support
- Assist with projects as directed by the Directors.
- Support different departments when required.
- Help improve administrative systems and processes.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Professional and friendly manner.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in craft beer or hospitality.
Desirable
- Previous administration experience.
- Experience using Mailchimp.
- HR administration experience.
- Purchasing or accounts administration experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
