Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant – Maternity Cover
Required October 2026, fixed term for one year or until the maternity postholder returns whichever is sooner.
We are looking for a motivated, creative and Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and professional team in Pre-Prep at Brighton College Prep Handcross.
You will be an experienced, highly motivated and well qualified to Level 3 or above. Energy, engagement with young children, excellent communication skills and flexibility are all key to the role.
The working hours for the role are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:15am – 3:30pm and Tuesdays and Friday 8:15am – 6pm totalling 41.25 hours per week during school term times. The salary for the position is £22,199 per annum.
The role will also include supporting our After-School provision and occasional holiday care (10 days across the whole school year).
