We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Production Operative to join our manufacturing team at Interfit Furniture Components.
This is a hands-on role assembling premium Blum drawers and supporting our MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard) department. No previous experience is required – we'll provide full training. However, you should be comfortable using electric power tools and enjoy practical, detail-focused work.
What you'll be doing
- Assembling Blum drawer systems to a high standard
- Assisting in the MFC production area
- Using electric power tools safely and confidently
- Receiving full training to safely operate a range of woodworking machinery within the MFC department
- Packing completed drawers ready for dispatch
- Assisting with putting stock away and maintaining organised work areas
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet our high standards
- Working as part of a friendly, hardworking production team
What we're looking for
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable using or learning to use electric power tools
- Good organisational skills
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
While previous experience is not essential, applicants should be practical, eager to learn, and confident using hand-held power tools. Full training will be provided, including the safe operation of woodworking machinery used within our MFC department.
