Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate CDP Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders during service hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations
- Support the team in managing inventory, stock rotation, and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high standards of presentation
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting new ideas and innovative cooking techniques
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Familiarity with meal preparation, serving, and general kitchen operations
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational skills
- A recognised culinary qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates
