We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to take full control of the kitchen at a well-established pub in the village of Cairndow
The Role
As Head Chef, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently excellent food and a smooth, professional service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking full control and responsibility for the kitchen
- Leading and managing the kitchen team
- Creating and delivering high-quality dishes
- Maintaining consistently high food standards and presentation
- Managing food ordering and stock levels
- Controlling food costs and minimising waste
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
- Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively
- Developing and maintaining a strong, consistent food offering
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- An experienced chef with a strong background in pubs, restaurants or hotel environments
- Passionate about quality food and excellent presentation
- Confident in managing a kitchen and leading a team
- Organised and knowledgeable about ordering and stock control
- Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
- Reliable, professional and hands-on
- Creative and enthusiastic about developing a quality food offering
