Job Overview
We are looking for an organised and proactive Shipping Coordinator to manage day-to-day shipping activities and help ensure goods move efficiently from suppliers to customers. You’ll coordinate shipments, prepare documentation, communicate with carriers and suppliers, track deliveries, and resolve issues to keep logistics operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments from booking through final delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, delivery records, invoices, customs information, and related paperwork.
- Liaise with freight carriers, suppliers, customers, warehouses, and internal teams to coordinate collection and delivery schedules.
- Track shipments, monitor delivery progress, and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or transportation issues.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update logistics systems with shipment, inventory, and delivery information.
- Support compliance with company procedures, transport requirements, customs processes, and health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, transport coordination, or a similar role is preferred.
- Good understanding of shipping processes, delivery documentation, freight arrangements, and basic customs procedures.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal teams.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Excel, logistics systems, and shipment-tracking platforms.
- A qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Transport, or a related field is desirable, but relevant practical experience will also be considered.
Pay: £2,500.00-£3,333.00 per month
