Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Van Delivery Driver who will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to customers.
You must be aged 25 or older for insurance purposes.
Duties
- Safely operate a commercial van to deliver products to various locations within designated routes
- Load and unload items with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring all deliveries are accurate and complete
- Verify delivery orders against shipment documentation to maintain accuracy
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery times and address any issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during routes
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic regulations to ensure safe transportation at all times
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo efficiently and safely
