Job description: Summer Temp Duty Manager
Skuna Boats was launched in 2017 with a mission to provide unique water based
experiences. Since then we have grown to become an award winning experience and one of
London's most loved tourist attractions. We now offer four experiences: Hot Tub, BBQ,Igloo
and Sauna boats.
We are looking for Duty Managers to join our team.
We want someone with experience in leadership or management at a leisure attraction or
within the marine industry. The role will work as part of our Operational Team, leading shifts
when senior managers are not on site and ensuring our customers have a safe and
enjoyable experience. The role will be for a summer temporary position with the potential of extending the contract.
The Person
We are looking for a organised, adaptable, customer focused leader who is looking for a role
in an exciting growing company. The role will work across our Canary Wharf location and
the majority of time will be spent in the great outdoors.
The Role
● The role is a mixture of marine, hospitality and operations.
● Manage day-to-day operations on site, ensuring high standards are upheld for the
guest experience.
● Take a lead on ensuring our health and safety processes and compliance
Your skills and experience
● A can-do, give-me-a-problem-and-I-can-solve-it attitude.
● Strong attention to detail and ability to be organised.
● Sound Health & Safety knowledge.
● Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
● Manage stock and equipment.
● Manage the team effectively.
● Marine experience - it is not required that you have experience of the marine
industry, but it is preferable.
● Qualifications preferred: F&B, First Aid, Marine licences (eg. RYA).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, FTE available.
Pay: £31,000 - £32,000 pro rata (D.O.E) + including service charge
Supplemental pay types:
Biannual performance Bonus
Schedule:
● 4-5 days per week
● 8-12 hour shifts
● Public Holidays
● Open 7 days
Work authorisation:
● Settled status OR right to work in UK (required)
