Responsibilities
- Work alongside other kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and maintaining high standards of food production and service
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency
- Practise all aspects of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations
- Assist in daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
- Learn food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and hospitality standards
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items that excite guests and reflect current culinary trends
Experience
- Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant setting
- Extensive food production and culinary experience with a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Demonstrated teamwork skills with the ability to cooperate with diverse groups of staff
- Solid understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and kitchen operations
- Previous restaurant experience showcasing expertise in serving guests efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Experience in hospitality environments where excellent customer service is prioritized
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
