About the Role
Honeywagon Co is looking for a reliable, hard working Part Time Cleaner to join our growing team. Driving licence is essential.
We supply specialist facilities to the events, film and TV industry across Scotland, including luxury toilet trailers, honeywagons, welfare units, production facilities and on location support equipment.
This role will be split between our HQ in Alexandria and various event, film and TV locations. Some days will be based at the yard preparing units before they go out. Other days will involve travelling to live sites to clean, restock and maintain facilities while they are in use.
This is a hands on role. We need someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail and understands that clean, well presented facilities matter to both clients and crews.
The Role
As a Cleaner, you will help prepare, clean and maintain Honeywagon Co facilities before, during and after hire.
You will work closely with our operations team to make sure units are cleaned, stocked and ready for use. You may also support the wider team during busy periods.
The work can be varied and fast paced, so a flexible attitude and willingness to get stuck in are important.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare luxury toilet trailers, honeywagons and welfare units.
- Clean film, TV and event facilities at HQ and on location.
- Restock toilet roll, hand soap, paper towels and other consumables.
- Prepare units to a high standard before delivery.
- Carry out cleaning checks during live events and productions.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage or missing stock.
- Keep cleaning areas, vehicles and equipment tidy and organised.
- Follow company cleaning standards and site safety procedures.
- Communicate clearly with the office, drivers and operations team.
- Support other areas of the business when required.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel between HQ and job locations.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a hands on events and production environment.
Desirable
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Experience in events, film, TV, hospitality, facilities or site work.
- Comfortable working occasional evenings and weekends during busy periods.
- Experience using cleaning products safely and correctly.
Hours
This is a part time position with flexible hours depending on production and event schedules.
Additional hours may be available during busy periods.
