Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Centre to lead and oversee the daily operations of our educational facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, managing staff, and ensuring the centre's programmes meet organisational standards. Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and strategic direction for the centre, ensuring all programmes align with organisational goals.
- Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of educational activities and curriculum.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance appraisals to maintain a motivated and professional team.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and engaging environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Develop relationships with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders to promote centre activities and initiatives.
- Monitor centre budgets, resources, and facilities to ensure efficient utilisation and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Organise regular staff meetings and training sessions to uphold high standards of teaching quality.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and organisational policies governing educational standards.
- Promote continuous improvement through feedback collection, programme evaluation, and implementing best practices.
- Manage student enrolment, assessment procedures, class scheduling, academic performance tracking, and regular parent interactions to maintain high educational standards.
- Develop and implement local marketing strategies, including school outreach and community engagement activities, to increase brand awareness, attract new students, and improve centre performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching or educational management, with a strong understanding of curriculum development.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage diverse groups effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with staff, students, parents, and external partners.
- A recognised qualification in education or related field is preferred.
- Passionate about education with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Previous experience in managing budgets or organisational resources is advantageous.

- Paediatric first aid Certificate
- Enhanced DBS clearance
