Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, consistent and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our growing cleaning company in Colchester.
We do NOT hire “just anyone who applies” — we are building a dependable team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various premises (Residential/ Domestic , Air BnB, End of Tenancy Cleaning & offices).
This role offers a vital service in ensuring environments are hygienic, safe, and welcoming for clients.
This role is a ZERO HOUR contract!
Pay: £14.50/hour + bonuses + travel support

Requirements
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness consistently throughout the shift
- Must be reliable (no repeated cancellations)
- Punctual, trustworthy, respectful towards clients and their home
- Detail focused and the ability to work independently
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within allocated timeframes
- Own transport preferred but not essential
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards
- Prior cleaning experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations
