We are looking for an experienced Brick Pointer / Repointing Operative for work in Preston.
The work will include flush pointing, bar jointing, raking out mortar, and general repointing duties. Candidates must be confident working independently and able to produce a clean, high-quality finish.
Duties include:
- Flush pointing
- Bar jointing
- Raking out old mortar
- General brick repointing
- Mixing and matching mortar where required
- Keeping brickwork clean and tidy
- Working safely and efficiently on site
Requirements:
- Previous experience in brick pointing / repointing
- Experience with flush pointing and bar jointing
- Able to rake out and repoint from start to finish
- Able to work alone without supervision
- Must have own pointing tools
- Own transport preferred
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to provide photos of previous work if requested
Pay:
£120 per day
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
- Outdoor work
Experience required:
- Brick pointing / repointing: 1 year minimum preferred
