Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks accurately.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify faults or potential issues.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems efficiently.
- Assist with the assembly of plumbing components and related systems.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing work within commercial or residential settings.
- Proficiency with welding, hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Experience with carpentry or related trades is desirable but not essential.
- Valid driving licence for commercial driving duties is preferred.
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including working at heights or in confined spaces if required.
