Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food assembly to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
- Support chefs and cooks with ingredient prep, portioning, and plating
- Help with catering setups and serving during events or busy service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or expired items
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety guidelines
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to learn new culinary skills
- Basic knowledge of serving procedures and customer service expectations
- Previous kitchen experience involving food preparation or culinary tasks is advantageous but not mandatory
