Job Summary
Croston Pizza Co is looking for a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef / Pizzaiolo to join our growing independent hospitality group. Originating in the heart of Croston, and expanding into Preston in Jan 2026, we are proud to serve authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas from our wood-fired pizza kitchen, using high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques.

The Role
As our Pizza Chef / Pizzaiolo, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional pizzas with consistency, speed, and attention to detail. You will work closely with the wider team to maintain the high standards that Croston Pizza Co is known for.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and stretch fresh pizza dough using traditional Neapolitan techniques.
- Cook pizzas in a wood-fired oven to a consistently high standard.
- Maintain excellent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety standards are met.
- Manage stock levels and minimise waste.
- Keep the pizza kitchen clean, organised, and efficient.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal specials and menu development.
- Work collaboratively with the front-of-house and kitchen teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Pizza Chef / Pizzaiolo, ideally in a Neapolitan or artisan pizza environment.
- Confidence working with fresh dough and a wood-fired oven.
- A genuine passion for pizza and quality ingredients.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
- A positive attitude and team-player mentality.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
