In this role as a Cleaning Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver high standards of cleaning across designated areas, ensuring all work meets agreed service levels (SLAs) and health and safety requirements.
Working hours 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday 13:30-19:30
You will take ownership of your area, supporting your team to work efficiently, safely, and to a consistently high standard, while promoting a positive and inclusive working environment.
- Lead, support, and motivate a cleaning team to achieve high performance
- Ensure all equipment is clean, well maintained, and safe to use
- Allocate tasks and monitor standards to meet agreed SLAs
- Ensure correct use of cleaning equipment and chemicals at all times
- Carry out quality checks and address any issues promptly
- Promote and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
- Deliver excellent customer service and respond to feedback
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive high standards
- Good communication skills, including basic English reading and writing
- Previous cleaning experience desirable; supervisory experience an advantage
- Ability to lead a team while also working independently
- Reliable, organised, and able to prioritise workloads
