Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Extruder Operator to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and operation of extrusion machinery under supervision
- Support the preparation of tooling and materials for production runs
- Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment using hand tools
- Monitor machine performance and report any irregularities or faults
- Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment
- Assist in quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to adhere to safety standards
- Follow safety protocols and operational procedures at all times
Experience
- Experience with extrusion
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and materials handling equipment is desirable
- Previous warehouse experience or involvement in manufacturing environments is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations required for setup and quality control
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new machinery and procedures

Pay: £31,724.16-£40,000.00 per year
