Job Summary
We are seeking a Salesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of polythene packaging products, building strong customer relationships, and expanding our market presence. This role requires experience in the polythene industry, preferably with manufacturing knowledge, excellent communication and organisational skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets. Salary & remote working are negotiable based on experience.
Duties
- Present and demonstrate our polythene packaging products to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers whilst actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Provide tailored solutions based on customer needs, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and contracts using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Manage sales pipeline efficiently through organised record-keeping and follow-up activities.
- Attend client meetings to promote the company's products.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements relevant to polythene packaging.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or customer service roles, preferably within the packaging or manufacturing sector.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Excellent organisational skills with effective time management abilities to handle multiple clients simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Good IT skills with an understanding of IT systems relevant to sales operations.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients through excellent interpersonal skills.
- Organised approach to work with attention to detail in preparing proposals and maintaining records.
Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
