For the Transport FTL department of our branch in London (UK), we are looking for a
Department Manager Transport
Key Responsibilities
Manage relationships with customers and transport suppliers, ensuring high service standards and operational efficiency
Oversee the Transport Department, ensuring smooth daily operations and performance targets are met
Coordinate and lead the transport team, supporting productivity and operational excellence
Monitor service quality, operational KPIs, and cost efficiency within the department
Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations
Your Profile
Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector, preferably with a freight forwarder specialising in road transport
Strong knowledge of road freight operations and transport planning
Experience in team coordination and operational management
Soft Skills
Strong results-oriented mindset
Excellent problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced logistics environment
Strong organizational and workload management skills
Leadership and team management capabilities
Collaborative team player approach
Ability to develop, motivate, and support team members
