Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods within our warehouse. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced environment, contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain processes. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, and a proactive attitude is essential for success in this role.
Shifts/Hours:
2 months from start date.
Monday- Wednesday
10:00 - 16:00
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading pallets from lorries and containers
- If Forklift Licensed you will be operating forklift and other warehouse equipment to move stock around the premises
- Restocking Shelves
- Picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch
- Booking in goods
- Heavy lifting of goods as required, following health and safety guidelines at all times
Skills
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Forklift license (Counterbalance) is an advantage but not essential.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Good attention to detail to prevent incorrect orders being shipped out.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
Physical Requirements
This role involves regular manual handling, including lifting wholesale orders weighing up to 30 kg from floor level. Candidates should be comfortable performing repetitive lifting and other physically demanding warehouse tasks throughout the working day.
