Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various environments, within a Care Home. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks in assigned areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors; clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling according to company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operation's
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with Residents and staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Must be physically fit, able to lift light loads, and stand for extended periods.
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
