About the Role
iCare Dental is looking to recruit a Specialist Implantologist, Periodontist, or a dentist with a special interest in implant dentistry and periodontal treatment to join our fully private dental practice in Croydon.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician looking to build and manage a private implant and periodontal list within a supportive, modern practice environment.
Role Details
The successful candidate will ideally work 1 day per week, with some flexibility on the day and working hours. The role offers strong private earning potential and a competitive percentage split.
Key Responsibilities
The Implantologist / Periodontist will be expected to:
- Provide implant dentistry, periodontal assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Carry out consultations and present clear, patient-focused treatment plans.
- Work confidently with digital dentistry systems, including 3D scanners and 3Shape where applicable.
- Open to carry out general dentistry
- Maintain accurate clinical notes, consent records, and treatment documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, referring clinicians, practice staff, laboratories, and third-party suppliers.
- Support the practice in developing its private implant and periodontal services.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- GDC registration and UK clinical experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience in implant dentistry, periodontics, or a related private dental setting.
- A postgraduate qualification, certificate, diploma, MSc, or demonstrable training in implant dentistry and/or periodontology.
- A proven track record in implant treatment planning and case delivery.
- Experience with digital treatment planning, 3D scanners, 3Shape, or similar systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional, patient-centred approach.
- Good IT and dental software knowledge.
- The ability to manage patient expectations and communicate treatment options clearly.

Requirements
Applicants must be:
- GDC registered.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Experienced in UK private dentistry.
- Confident in implant and/or periodontal treatment planning and delivery.
Remuneration
A competitive percentage split is available, with excellent private earning potential depending on experience, skills, and patient demand.
