Job Summary
Powder coating company requires a shotblaster @ £14 and o/t will be time and a half.
8am-5pm 40 hours per week with overtime available.
this is a permanent position.
training can be given for this position but wages will be at a negotiable rate.
Duties
- Operate hand and power tools to prepare surfaces for blasting, including cleaning and painting tasks.
- Perform blasting operations using appropriate techniques to achieve desired surface finishes.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor maintenance as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving fabrication or assembly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently.
- A proactive approach to health and safety regulations within the workplace.
