We are currently looking for a Public area cleaner/ Room Attendant to join our team.
The role can either be public area cleaner for 2-3 hours a day and then move upstairs to help Housekeeping staff 7am start until 12/1pm ( Depending on business levels)
Or purely Public Area cleaning - 7am start - 10am ( Flexible on timings)
Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager, Responsibilities include:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities across the public areas of the hotel - swimming pool, changing rooms, guest toilets, reception area, bar area and the terrace areas on a daily basis
- Making and stripping Beds.
- Ensuring bedroom is cleaned to a high standard
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Notify any damages, deficits and disturbances to the Housekeeper.
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience is not necessary, additional training will be given.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Customer-oriented and friendly out-going personality as you will come into contact with Guests on a daily basis.
- Working quickly without compromising quality.
- Working knowledge of housekeeping.
