Are you an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver looking for a varied and rewarding role with a growing company?
Progress Plant Hire Ltd is seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused driver to join our expanding team based in Leicester.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of construction plant and equipment to customers across the Midlands and surrounding areas. Every day is different, and you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive excellent service.
What You'll Be Doing:
✅ Delivering and collecting construction plant and equipment
✅ Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining vehicle cleanliness
✅ Loading and securing machinery safely and correctly
✅ Providing excellent customer service on-site
✅ Completing delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
✅ Representing Progress Plant Hire professionally at all times
What We're Looking For:
✔ Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
✔ Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
✔ Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
✔ Positive attitude and strong work ethic
✔ Excellent customer service skills
✔ Experience delivering plant machinery preferred but not essential – training can be provided
