Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile General Labourer/Multitrader to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of diverse projects, contributing your hands-on skills across multiple trades to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with general site preparation, clean-up, and material handling to keep work areas organized and safe
- Support roofing projects by preparing surfaces, assisting with shingle or membrane installation, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Carry out construction painting tasks to prepare surfaces and apply finishes with precision
- Operate hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction or related trades is advantageous but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, decorating and tiling advantage
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces
- Strong attention to safety procedures and workplace regulations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
- Valid driver’s license is a plus but not required; reliable transportation is beneficial
