Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Check prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and legal requirements
- Be organised and meet deadlines accordingly
- Preferably experience with Rxweb
- Provide expert advice on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to patients and healthcare providers
- Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness and safety
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimise patient treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and organisational policies
- Educate patients on medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and health management strategies
- Stay updated with the latest developments in pharmacology and healthcare practices
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pharmacist within a clinical or community setting is essential
- Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and excellent communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology principles
- Demonstrated expertise in medication administration protocols and safety standards
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records
