Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing individual needs and developing tailored care plans.
- Administer medications accurately and safely, following prescribed dosages and protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments, promptly reporting any changes to the medical team.
- Assist with medical procedures, including wound care, injections, and IV therapy, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate seamless patient care.
Experience
- Experience as a registered nurse in a clinical setting or similar healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to inform accurate assessments and interventions.
- Skilled in medication administration with a thorough understanding of safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients clearly and work collaboratively with team members.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Valid NMC pin.
