The Knot Inn is a popular countryside pub near Rudyard Lake, renowned for exceptional seasonal food, warm hospitality and one of the area's favourite Sunday lunches. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our friendly kitchen team.

The role
Working alongside our Head Chef and Sous Chef, you'll prepare and cook high-quality, seasonal dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You'll play an important role in delivering consistently excellent food, maintaining high standards and contributing to the smooth running of the kitchen.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking fresh dishes to a consistently high standard
- Managing your section efficiently during service
- Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy periods
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Assisting with stock rotation and reducing food waste
- Contributing ideas for new dishes and weekly specials
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience as a Chef de Partie or an ambitious Commis Chef ready for the next step
- Is passionate about cooking fresh food from scratch
- Enjoys working as part of a friendly, supportive team
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in every plate
- Remains calm and organised in a busy kitchen
