Lead Your Own Homecare Branch, With Strong Expertise Behind You
Most registered management roles in care promise "autonomy" and then leave you carrying every difficult decision by yourself. This one is different.
Visiting Angels Cheshire East is led by two doctors who have already built a successful, well-established Visiting Angels service across Kirklees and Calderdale, and they're now bringing that same model, and their hands-on support, to Cheshire East.
You'll run the branch and lead your team, with people who trust you to do it and have your back when it counts. Our Cheshire East office spans Macclesfield, Knutsford, Wilmslow, Congleton, Leek, Buxton and Whaley Bridge. That's a lot of room to build, grow, and make the service genuinely your own, with experienced owners beside you every step of the way.
What you'll get
- A salary of £35,000 to £42,000, plus performance bonus, set against your experience and registration status. Visiting Angels works on a premium, privately funded model — properly funded visit lengths, carers paid well, and the time to deliver care the way it should be done.
- Real authority to lead. You decide how your team is structured, how care is delivered day to day, and where the service goes next. Backed by owners who trust your judgement and support your decisions.
- You're not carrying registration on your own. As Registered Manager you'll have a dedicated Area Manager, monthly RM calls with other managers across the group, and full head office training behind you.
- A funded route to your Level 5 Diploma if you're still working towards it. We'll back you all the way to getting registered.
- A genuine learning and development culture, built into the week. Wednesday afternoons are protected time for learning and team building. With everything from online course access, a team book club, weekly business education sessions, sports/hiking and the opportunity to take part in wildcard projects where the team pitches and runs their own ideas.
- Free, award-winning wellbeing support through our AngelCare app — counselling, talking therapy, meditation, even personal trainer and nutritionist services, whenever you need them.
- Your birthday off, on us, without touching your holiday allowance.
- A tuck shop of healthy snacks, and Netflix + Prime on us. Small things, but they add up.
- Paid mileage and funded ongoing professional development.
- A carer-first culture. Staff turnover here sits at around 9%, against a sector average of roughly 29%, because people feel genuinely looked after and they stay. We've also won a Best Employee Benefits Package award.
