Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
- Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Manage daily routines within the nursery setting, including organising activities and maintaining a structured environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members through clear communication and professional conduct.
- Lead by example in promoting good behaviour, social skills, and early learning principles.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in organising outings or trips in line with organisational policies, including driving when necessary.
- Ensure the nursery environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting.
- Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee daily activities and guide junior staff or trainees.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Sound knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
- Ability to organise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining flexibility to adapt to children's needs.
- Experience in childcare management is desirable but not essential; willingness to develop leadership skills is important.
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for organising outings or transporting children when required.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
