The Westbury Park Pub & Kitchen is looking for experienced supervisors to join their team!
The Westbury has been a mainstay of the Henleaze food & drink scene for 8 years, taken on by Zazu's Pubs and thoughtfully restored and refurbished in 2016. We're well known in the area for serving high-quality dishes with seasonal and local ingredients, alongside a carefully curated drinks selection which highlights some of the best that Bristol has to offer.
We're looking for an experienced supervisor to jump into service with our team, but we will consider applications from strong FOH candidates who are looking for a step up in responsibility. Food service experience is a must; cocktail and cellar experience is preferred, although a friendly and outgoing personality is the most important factor!
We are currently looking to fill up to 30 hours per week, but this may increase for the right candidate.
We are looking for...
- A passionate person who's focus is on offering excellent customer service at all times whether at the table or across the bar.
- Someone with plenty of experience working in a busy pub with a high amount of food covers, with knowledge of your way around a basic cocktail list, the basics of wines, spirits and beer would also be great.
- Proven experience running shifts and food service is 100% essential for the supervisor role, and a keen interest in quality food and the desire to learn more about what we do and be passionate about our product.
- Previous experience in leading and managing a team, running a busy shift in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Manager would also be required.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone wanting to learn more about the industry and take on a progressive management role in an independent but supportive business.
For the right person we will take on full time or part time. The shifts would be mostly evenings and weekends but it is a fair rota and we try to get everyone on some day shifts with some time off at the weekend.
