We're a family-run Practice with big ambitions, and we're looking for a Semi-/Senior Accountant to join our team, and grow with us.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll be working across our Making Tax Digital and Virtual Finance Partner teams, which means real variety and responsibility:
- Preparing MTD returns and sole trader accounts for a genuinely interesting mix of clients - think tradespeople one day, dentists the next.
- Preparing bookkeeping for larger Ltd company clients (mainly on QuickBooks and Xero) as part of our Virtual Finance Partner service - where we go beyond basic compliance into management accounts and strategic growth advice
- Reviewing clients' own in-house bookkeeping, and coaching them to improve it.
- Supporting the wider team and Partners with ad hoc projects.
You'll be based in our modern Blackpool and Fylde office, working closely with Gina, our Partner.
What You'll Bring
- At least 3 years' Accounts Preparation experience within a UK based accountancy practice
- Completed the AAT qualification, as a minimum.
- The confidence to pick up the phone, jump onto Teams calls, or talk face-to-face with clients - no hiding behind emails.
- A proactive, “how can I help” attitude and the initiative to deliver genuinely 5-star client service.
- Solid experience with QuickBooks, Xero or FreeAgent is essential.
- Experience with IRIS is a bonus.
- Experience with medical/dental practice clients would be the icing on the cake.
- A genuine appetite for learning and developing professionally.
- Comfort working across modern tools like Slack, Microsoft 365 and workflow management software.
