We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of a responsive repairs contract within our MTC division. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the successful operational, commercial and contractual delivery of works while maintaining exceptional client relationships. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver high-quality services, achieve contractual KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You will be proactive, commercially aware and committed to delivering excellent customer service while fostering long-term partnerships with our clients.
About The Role
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As Contracts Manager, you will:
Ø Manage the day-to-day delivery of a Responsive Repairs contract.
Ø Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, ensuring a collaborative and trusted partnership.
Ø Lead and manage operational resources to deliver daily, weekly, and monthly work programmed.
Ø Produce accurate monthly contract reports and attend internal and client review meetings.
Ø Monitor and achieve contractual and internal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Ø Manage communication between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
Ø Support the resolution of contract queries, claims, and variations.
Ø Assist the Commercial Manager with the procurement and management of suppliers and subcontractors.
Ø Work with commercial and operational teams to prepare accurate cost and value analysis.
Ø Ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation and company policies.
Ø Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Full UK Driving Licence.

Minimum 5 years' experience managing contracts at a senior level.

At least 2 years' experience managing contracts with an annual turnover exceeding £500,000.

Strong knowledge of contract management, client relationship management and operational delivery.

Excellent commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and contract performance.

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Background in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering or Heating Services.

Experience working within social housing, responsive repairs or planned maintenance.

Knowledge and experience of Schedule of Rates (SOR) coding.

SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH qualification.

Excellent leadership and people management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to build long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Commercially aware with strong analytical and numerical skills.

- As the majority of the work will be conducted in Public Sector or Housing Associations properties, we will require a recent Enhanced Access NI certificate CTS will perform an Access NI check as part of the on-boarding process.
