We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, packaging, and labelling medications for patient distribution
- Provide medication administration support under supervision, ensuring correct dosage and timing
- Offer compassionate patient care by answering queries, providing medication information, and ensuring understanding of instructions
- Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications and update patient profiles as required
- Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with health and safety regulations at all times
- Support inventory management by stock checking, ordering supplies, and organising storage areas
- Uphold confidentiality and data protection standards in all aspects of work
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Professional registration or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable)
