We are looking for a Cook to join our team at Burtons at the Manor, a restored and well-established village café in Burton, Neston.
2 Days per week.
Immediate start available.
Own transport necessary, due to very limited public transport options (free parking on-site).
Opening Hours: 9am-3pm, every day (weekends and Bank Holidays)
Duties:
- Prepare, cook and present food quickly and efficiently, meeting our quality and presentation standards
- Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times
- Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues
- Complete all appropriate company documentation and key tasks on every shift
- Carry out instructions given by the management team
- Enthusiastic in expressing new ideas and developing Specials
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Ability to adapt to changing menus and dietary restrictions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
