Countrywide Signs Bristol & Bath is based just outside of Radstock and our service area covers all of Somerset & Bristol. As a business we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our growing family run business as a Estate Agency Board Fitter.

The role offered will start as part-time (2-3 days a week) with the potential to increase to full-time for the right person and as business needs grow. Also potential for overtime in busy periods.
The potential candidate must have the following:
- A good work ethic and take pride in their work.
- Be reliable and have good timekeeping
- A clean full driver’s license
- The ability to drive a van. The vehicle will be provided.
- The ability to confidently use power tools to fit estate agent boards
- The ability to work at height using ladders (FFS Level)
- The ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work overtime when offered.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to problem solve, but not be afraid to ask questions if you are unsure.
- Confidence to speak to our agents & their vendors in a professional manner.
- The ability to assess the best location & installation type of each board for maximum visibility & stability for every job.
Main responsibilities:
- Driving to properties across Somerset & Bristol, fitting, changing & collecting estate agent boards and completing anywhere between 25-50 jobs a day, depending on mileage.
- Ensuring all signs are fitted as per company standards.
- Supporting management to implement business improvements.
- Maintaining services by adhering to company operations and procedures.
- Adhering to company Health and Safety practices.
- Working outdoors in most weather conditions unless it is dangerous.
- Upon return to the unit, ensuring your vehicle is unloaded, stock is returned and the unit is kept tidy and ready for the next day.
- Wear Company Uniform (uniform will be provided)
- Other duties as and when directed by the Management Team.
Key Performance Indicators:
- How many signs are fitted to company standards correctly and within time?
- Does the quality of work meet the company standards?
- Feedback from estate agents.

Full training will be given.
First trial day unpaid
Paid trial/training for 2 weeks (your first week will be hands on training out on the road with another fitter).
Probation period of 6 months.
Salary: £26,800.00 per annum pro-rata

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift is the target, some days finish sooner some days slightly later. Load up each morning by 7.30am at the unit in BA3, then tackle the day's round with a physical job sheet and a drivers app.
