You will play a central role in ensuring our care remains safe, person and relationship-centred, clinically effective, and rooted in the real needs of the people we support and their families.
About the Role
As Clinical Lead Nurse, you will provide leadership across complex care services, supporting the mobilisation, delivery, and ongoing quality of care packages for individuals with a wide range of clinical needs.
You will work closely with our care teams, families, healthcare professionals, and operational leaders to ensure care is delivered with consistency, compassion, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mobilisation of new complex care packages, including clinical assessments and person-centred care planning
- Support and mentor care teams, ensuring confidence and competence in specialist clinical interventions
- Develop, review, and maintain clear and effective clinical documentation, care plans, and risk assessments
- Monitor and audit care delivery to ensure the highest standards of safety, dignity, and quality are consistently achieved
- Build trusted relationships with the people we support, their families, multidisciplinary teams, and external professionals
- Provide clinical leadership and support investigations or incident reviews where required
- Manage a caseload of complex care packages across the region
- Act as Medication Lead for the organisation, ensuring safe medication practices and regular staff competency assessments
- Work collaboratively with Care Managers and Field Supervisors to strengthen quality, communication, and continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and reflective practice across the care team
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who combines strong clinical capability with warmth, leadership, and emotional intelligence.
Essential:
- Registered Adult Nurse with experience in Complex Care and/or Learning Disabilities
- Experience delivering and signing off clinical competencies and training
- Competent in tracheostomy and ventilator care
- Confident in writing and reviewing clinical documentation and care plans
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and commitment to the NMC Code of Conduct
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised and confident managing priorities independently
- Comfortable working collaboratively across operational and clinical teams
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Based within East Sussex
Desirable:
- Experience supporting CQC inspections and local authority engagement
- Experience within domiciliary or community-based complex care settings
- Ability to complete TDDI registration as part of the role
