About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Primary Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Colwyn Bay, Conwy. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning while enjoying the flexibility of supply work.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to provide high-quality support to pupils across a range of year groups, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging classroom activities.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and development.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom preparation and general administrative tasks.
- Adapt to different school settings and year groups as required.
- Help ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable.
- A positive, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one).
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
