Duties
- Handle materials with care, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and stocking of products to meet customer orders and inventory needs
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely to load, unload, and transport goods within the facility
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock records, and ensure data accuracy
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying shipments, inspecting goods for quality control, and documenting inbound/outbound deliveries
- Perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines during all physical tasks
- Conduct regular stock checks and organize storage areas to optimize space utilization and accessibility
- Assist with mechanical maintenance or troubleshooting of equipment when necessary to ensure operational efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics environments with knowledge of warehouse procedures
- Strong materials handling skills with the ability to operate forklifts confidently (certification preferred)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
- Ability to perform shipping & receiving duties accurately and efficiently
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude to support equipment maintenance or troubleshooting tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for quality control checks
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and load/unload activities in a fast-paced setting
