Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Purchasing Director to lead our procurement operations and drive excellence across our supply chain. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize cost savings and operational efficiency
- Lead negotiations with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to secure favorable terms and build strong, collaborative relationships
- Oversee the management of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to streamline procurement processes and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and minimize disruptions
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry innovations to continuously improve procurement practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and logistics to align procurement initiatives with company objectives
- Manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing department
Experience
- Proven experience in senior procurement or supply chain leadership roles, with a track record of managing large-scale purchasing operations
- Extensive knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms used for procurement management
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous terms while maintaining positive supplier relationships
- Deep understanding of logistics, transportation management, and end-to-end supply chain processes
- Excellent analytical skills to assess market conditions, supplier performance metrics, and cost analysis data
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment while driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in supply chain management is highly desirable

Pay: £34,733.60-£42,000.00 per year
