Job Title: HR Business Coach
Location: London Office, Hybrid (4 days per year in office)
Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 per annum
Due to rapid growth within the business, we’re looking for an experienced HR Business Coach to join the amazing team at Leep Talent! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic organisation making a difference to young people in the community.
Your overall goal within the business will be coaching and development of apprentices through the Apprenticeship Standards, tracking their progression through the apprenticeship journey. You will work alongside the employer to develop the plans for how and when the on-programme and end-point assessments will be delivered and assess the apprentices progress towards the development of their knowledge, skills, and behaviours. You will also work closely with the Service Delivery Manager, Quality compliance and Curriculum teams, Sales teams to establish effective ways of learning to improve learner satisfaction and success rates and quality of our learning journey.
The role will require you to adapt to diverse ways of working and establish individual learning needs, identify best practices, and bring individualism and personality to a standardised course. This role will entail one to one coaching with apprentices however there will be a need to have a flexible approach to different models of delivery as we evolve Leep Talent to harnesses the latest technologies to provide a remote learning product that means our learners can benefit from all our training and development programmes wherever they are.
Main Responsibilities
- Review contents of the apprenticeship standard with the employer and the apprentice, then help to plan the projects and tasks that will be needed for the apprentice to meet the standard in full, setting realistic targets and project plans as the apprenticeship progresses.
- Provide a proficient level of feedback for the summative portfolio which meets Ofsted and the apprenticeship standards.
- Prepare the apprentice for their end-point assessment interview by asking regular appropriate questions that build on the skills as the apprentice progresses and observing demonstrations on the apprentices’ practical skills.
- Coach apprentices in business skills by guiding, supporting, providing accountability and encouragement, embedding Maths & English Functional Skills into the coaching sessions.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a similar role within the training industry, particularly in HR.
- 2+ years’ industry experience and appropriate qualifications.
- PGCE/CertEd/QTS or L4 Teaching qualification, as well as qualifications in HR and Maths & English GCSEs.
- Level 3 IAG qualification or above, or working towards in the first 6 months.
- We may require an element of the role to involve field work visiting the apprentices on their employment sites and getting to know the environment they are working in - this is exceptionally rare and would always be agreed upon in advance.
